Synopsis:

Kundalini awakening is desirable because it characteristically bestows a comprehensive, enduring, and positive transformation that can include enhanced abilities in the experiencer.  I feel Kundalini literally gave me the means to discern information that apparently benefitted patients in the nascent Comprehensive Spirit Releasement Hypnotherapy practice of my husband, Charles Tramont, MD. (1937-2021)  In the kundalini trance state, which differed significantly from the hypnotic trance achieved during many past-life regressions, a low-level of kundalini energy was maintained continuously, accompanied by distinct physical and emotional perceptions, focus, and delivery of information through my subconscious mind. Studies show that chakras emit measurable, detectable energy.  My spontaneous awakening was unsought and may have been achieved unknowingly through Tramont’s efforts in his practice to balance his patients’ chakras. In December 2023, the Journal published my peer-reviewed Target Article, From Baby Doctor to Witch Doctor.  This Maverick presentation will complete that essay by explaining what enabled me to participate in Tramont’s practice, about which I am still passionate and motivated due to the positive feedback I heard from his patients years after their session(s) with us.  My goal is to stimulate discussion and research so that those in various fields of healing might consider Spirit Releasement Hypnotherapy as an effective tool to help people heal themselves.

Biography:

Nancy Smoot Tramont is neither a scientist nor a researcher, but she does have extensive experience in differing hypnotic states and the joys of transliminality along with conventional careers in banking and insurance agency management. Consciousness Studies classes taught by Raymond Moody at the University of Nevada expanded her awareness and contributed to her spontaneous kundalini awakening that enabled Nancy to later serve as a type of medium for her spouse, Charles Tramont, MD, a Spirit Releasement hypnotherapist. Two prolonged, near-range UAP sightings sparked her lifelong interest in ufology and led her to become a MUFON Field Investigator.
