Synopsis:

Introduction
There is a consensus forming in the public research realm that you cannot separate the issue of UAPs/UFOs and Aliens from Consciousness.

However, an enduring problem that I observe in this subject, even among scientific researchers, is a lack of consensus on the definition of the phenomena, potentially confounding discernment of the truth.

UAP covers a vast range of poorly defined objects, beings and experiences, most of which cannot be tackled properly from a purely materialistic view of consciousness and reality. Even supposedly physical flying vehicles and their attendant “aliens”, blur into non-physicality and strange alterations of consciousness.

The definitions and study of anomalous events, things (including humans), and reality itself, depend upon your view of consciousness: is it local and material or non-local and immaterial?

Postulating that consciousness and reality are in essence non-local and non-material opens UAP to definitions and fruitful study. Beginning with deep, fundamental questions to frame the problem provides a foundation upon which to build proper scientific research.

Fundamental questions
What is reality? What is consciousness?

What is matter? What is energy? What are humans?

Considering physical forms as mere appearances (Bohm’s Explicate Order) manifested from an unseen Implicate Order, it gives us fundamental working tools: energy and fields. When pursuing causes, everything comes down to energy and fields, information, dynamic, ordered and meaningful, such as the zero point and quantum fields underlying physical reality. Given the history of scientific research demonstrating non-locality and remote effects of consciousness, and the appearance of these effects in conjunction with UAP, it is reasonable to carry out a joint study.

We will deal here with UFOs and their attendant ‘alien’ beings and leave all the other anomalous phenomena for another talk, as the subject is immense.

Biography:

Dianne Trussell B.Sc. Hons. has had lifelong experiences of parapsychological phenomena. Her research background in Australian university medical schools focused on the neuroanatomy of gut, urinary tract, and primate cortex. Her realization that the brain may function as a responsive transducer and modifier of consciousness rather than being the origin of consciousness has answered her questions about her experiences via a hypothetical normal functioning of the quantum and electromagnetic universe. She now researches consciousness as a non-local, universal field, and dives into agentic AI management as a research support tool. Since 2019 she has presented at several conferences of the Society for Scientific Exploration (SSE) and The Science of Consciousness (TSC).

The Society for Scientific Exploration encourages dialogue on diverse topics. Abstracts and presentations reflect the perspectives of their authors, not official positions of SSE.
